11:30 p.m. A Houston Police Officer has been shot and is en route to Ben Taub Hospital in critical condition. The shooting occurred in the 1500 block of Alabama St., where the shot came from a building. The unidentified suspect remains at large. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
